Stogie Wagon is an Outlaw Country Honky-Tonk band that brings the soul of vintage country back to the stage! With twang, heart and a rowdy spirit, they channel the legends of the past while blazing their own trail through smoky barrooms, roadhouses, and clubs!
(Fronted by Grandview Heights own Chris Haus)
Kevin Briggs is a Lancaster native and musician who performs throughout Pennsylvania and neighboring states.
Drawing from original material as well as other songs that may come to mind, his performances are relaxed, improvisational, and unscripted. It's always a good time, and there's no place he'd rather be than playing his guitar and singing for all the people!
John Beaumont, Tom Castner (Grandview Resident), Aimee Pavlesich Earley
(Grandview Resident), and her daughter, Norah (Grandview Resident) make up
the group that is Creekside. Along with weddings and special occasions,
Creekside plays once a month at John Wright Restaurant, playing their always
growing list of easy-listening, story-oriented, classic and contemporary song
selections at a volume level that leaves plenty of room for conversation!
Retired educators, John “JB” Beaumont and Tom Castner have played together for 20+ years in several musical gatherings of folks, and they bring a combined 100+ years of musical experiences as guitar players, vocalists, and band members into their efforts with Creekside.
Currently working as Director of the 5th and 6th Grade Orchestra as well as
strings teacher at Landis Run Intermediate School, Aimee has also played for 20+ years with John and Tom. Though belonging to a younger generation than her retired friends, Aimee brings decades of experience as a music educator, strings teacher, and highly trained and skilled musician into her own heartfelt playing as a cellist, violinist, and upright bassist.
Our youngest member, Norah, is very involved with her studies and
activities at Manheim Twp. High School. She does her best to join us in between exams, musicals, plays, and demanding band activities. When Norah and her mom, Aimee, sing together, there is a warm family connection in their harmonies!
From the southern end of Pennsylvania, Tractor Jerry grew up with bluegrass festivals and parking lot music circles. Sunset Park sat a stone’s throw from his home in the backwoods of Chester County and featured a humble open air stage that was known for holding the weight of country and bluegrass legends. A father’s love of bluegrass music and countless childhood afternoons at venues like Sunset, laid the foundation for a lifetime love of Grass and Roots music.
Tractor Jerry and the Mud Bucket is a band formed out of Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The Debut self-titled album, aimed to muddle bluegrass and alt-country music. Tractor Jerry called upon some longtime fellow musicians to jump in the bucket and search for a sound that Jerry likes to call swamp grass. These whiskey soaked country stories have a boot cut and ball cap feel, cutting a path for a new breed of Hillbilly.
I’ve always wanted to have a sixties band because of my love for the music of that era. And not just my love for that music, but everyone’s love for that music in the band. Our guitarist, Scott, came up with the name, “The Band From UNCLE” since the TV show, The Man From U.N.C.L.E. was from that same era: mid to late sixties. Scott, Jeff and I have been friends since 1968!
We’re very excited to bring this music to you, and we hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we love playing it. These songs promise to bring back many memories for you as you’ll probably even remember what you were doing when the songs hit the radio. The song list goes from early sixties to 1973.
So sit back or dance, and let all the memories flood back to you as Dave (drums), Scott (guitar), Jeff (bass), Mark (lead vocals), Sheri (keyboards), and Ron (sax and flute), bring these great songs back to you.
